About The Service
Competent Response offers a comprehensive program to design customized, code compliant building fire safety plans. All plans meet the requirements of section 2.8 of the Ontario Fire Code. Our fire plan development includes a review of existing emergency plans, building audits, customization to the client’s regulatory requirements and the option of including a training component to prepare participants with the necessary skills and familiarity to reduce risk and threats to occupants. Our plans are not complete until the Authority Having Jurisdiction has provided written approval of the plan.
Current fire plans can be reviewed and our fire plan examiner can implement modifications or revisions.
With customized fire safety plans and training delivered by instructors with decades of operational firefighting experience, our program provides first responders with information of critical building infrastructure and helps to build confidence and familiarity with appropriate emergency procedures.
